A Letter to Myself
My boy, you are destined for great things. The vision I see for your future is so great that it surpasses the depth of what we believe is the realm of possibility.
Hello, my boy. How are you doing? I always ask you if you are happy because to me, your happiness is my first priority. I could have been anyone in this world, I could have been extremely rich or very poor, and I could have been good or bad. Handsome or not handsome. I could have been nice or not nice but I pray thanking God every day that I am you.
My life and me being you has been a life full of adventure and even as we have had our fair share of struggles, I want you to know that I am so glad and I feel so blessed to be you. Lord knows I wouldn’t want to be someone else even if I was given the choice. I love you. I love everything about you. David Mania. I love the name. I love who you are and what you stand for. I love that you go for what you want, no matter the hurdles you may face. I love that for you, for us, we move regardless.
Dreams
The last one to two years have been very tough on you my boy and I see that it has worn you down a lot. I see that you are struggling. I see that maybe you may feel that you are not where you would want to be. I feel like you are sometimes too harsh on yourself expecting too much in such a short time. I, however, do not mean to blame the situation on you and all I am saying is that give it a little bit more time. Keep working. Keep grinding and I can promise you that we will get there. God is in control and He sees you and what you do and how much you love it.
I know that you would die for your dream and I am here to tell you that I would die for it too with you. I know nobody really sees it, nobody sees your vision but I want to tell you that I do. I see it. I see it as clear as day and Lord knows I want it just as bad for you too. When you started Mania Inc., I felt like you had made such a good choice of something to pursue. Knowing that you love writing and that you have always wanted the freedom to write on what you want and what interests you, I knew and felt deeply that Mania Inc. was what you were meant to do.
