Arsenal title hopes were yesterday dimmed after 'The Gunners' drew Southampton 3-3 in a hard-fought match. The game was crucial for Arsenal's title hopes as they had been only 4 points ahead of Manchester City, who have two games in hand. As things now stand, Arsenal are 5 points ahead, still giving Man City a very good chance to upend their lead and retain the English Premier League Title if they win both games.

Hard-Fought Arsenal Home Draw Against Southampton Still Not Good Enough

Yesterday's match against Southampton was hard-fought for Arsenal as 'The Gunners' came from behind to secure a 3-3 draw. Southampton opened the scoring with a Carlos Alcaraz goal in the 1st minute. Theo Walcott made it two thirteen minutes later and Duje Caleta-Car made it 3 for Southampton in the 66th minute.

3 Draws in the Last 3 Games for Arsenal

Gabriel Martinelli scored Arsenal's first goal in the 20th minute. Martin Odegaard followed with their second goal in the 88th minute with Bukayo Saka scoring the all-important third goal in the 90th minute, to salvage a draw. Saka's goal was his 13th Premier League goal this season.

Yesterday's draw against Southampton is Arsenal's third consecutive draw, at a time when they are in desperate need of putting distance between themselves and defending champions Manchester City in the EPL Table.
