Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goal after a six-game drought when Manchester United beat Brighton 2-0 this week. Ronaldo had gone six games without scoring but went on to help propel Manchester United to the top four of the English Premier League.

The game was played after being postponed and was a gameweek 18 game. The league is currently in gameweek 26 and gameweek 25 games were played over the weekend. The league has had to postpone some matches due to COVID-19 concerns and players getting infected with the virus.
