Kabarak University's Facebook Page was restored after the university recovered the page from a South American hacker who'd posted nudes on the page.

Kabarak University's Facebook Page was restored after the university recovered the page from a South American hacker who'd posted nudes on the page. The university, with the help of Facebook's parent company, Meta, managed to recover the account that had gained additional followers as a result of the hack.
Kabarak University Facebook Page Recovered with Double its Followers
The Facebook page for Kabarak University was recovered with 76,000 followers, more than double the 36,000 followers it had preceeding the hack. The page's likes also grew, going up to 49,000 from the previous 42,000 at the time of the hack. It seems, therefore, that the hack wasn't that bad for Kabarak University but only embarrased the university.
Kabarak University Facebook Page Hacked
The page had been hacked by a South American teenager who demanded to be paid $500 to return it to the university. It is unclear whether the university paid him but it seems more likely that Facebook through Meta intervened and restored the page to its rightful owners.

The hacker, who is likely to be a high school student in an IT-based school in Jakarta, Indonesia had somehow managed to infiltrate the highly-public page.

The hacker, while in an attempt to make a joke of his hack, had posted nudes on the Facebook page. He had also posted memes, cracking up Kenyan FB users who were surprised to see the strange content on Kabarak University's official Facebook page. Reports indicate that the page is now in the right hands and has since been restored.

ICT Officers at Kabarak restored the page to its former glory, replacing its profile photo with the school's logo and the cover photo with their banner. The university also posted an ad for the university's May intake.
