Real Madrid weren't coming to fool around in the second leg of the Copa del Rey Semi-finals as they thrashed Barcelona a decent 4-0 in what seemed like a walkover Copa del Rey El Clasico for them. Barca seemed to lose their way after the halftime break and when Real Madrid sensed their fear, they pounced with everything they had.

Barcelona had been showing good progress this season but undid all their progress after suffering a 0-4 loss to Real Madrid in the second leg of the Copa del Rey Semi-finals. Their loss meant that Real Madrid will go on to the Copa del Rey final, thanks to a 4-1 aggregate lead.
